Marathon

The Modesto Marathon course features a downtown 7 a.m. start, and travels through scenic tree-lined historic college neighborhoods, including the celebrated “house in the middle of the road.” Runners will then head past Modesto Junior College’s west campus, and into the countryside viewing the beautiful Diablo Mountain Range, passing the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. Runners then head back toward town, finishing near the host Doubletree Hotel/Modesto Convention Center.
The flat, fast course will be open 7 hours, allowing adequate time for first-time marathoners.

Half Marathon

The Modesto Half Marathon course features a downtown 7 a.m. start in conjunction with the Modesto Marathon. Runners will travel through scenic tree-lined historic college neighborhoods, including the celebrated “house in the middle of the road,” then past Modesto Junior College’s west campus, and into the countryside surrounded by scenic orchards. Runners will then turn around and run back toward town, finishing near the host Doubletree Hotel/Modesto Convention Center.
The Half Marathon course is flat and fast, and will remain open 7 hours. Walkers and first-timers are especially encouraged to participate in the 13.1-mile event.

The 3.1-mile loop begins at 7:20 a.m. and travels from downtown Modesto through beautiful tree-lined streets, including Graceada Park and the celebrated “house in the middle of the road.” The course then turns down the Virginia Corridor, winding back to the finish on M Street, near the host Doubletree Hotel/Modesto Convention Center.

Parking
Parking: $1 per hour between the hours 6a.m. to 6p.m. $5 per vehicle between the hours of 6p.m. & 6a.m.
Modesto Center Plaza Parking: On corner of 11th & L, entrance on L St.
City of Modesto parking: on the corner of 11th and K, entrance on K. Another garage on 9th St, entrance on 9th St.
R.V & Bus parking is located at the Center Plaza Parking lot on the corner of 11th and L, entrance on L St.
$20 per day for R.V., $30 per day for Bus.

Pasta Dinner
