Marathon & Half Marathon race times start at 7a.m.
5k starts 7:20a.m. Course is open for 7 hours. Course closes at 2p.m. Race starts on the corner of 11th & M St., finishes on M St. near 10th St.
The course is certified as a Boston qualifier. USATF certification code is #CA11016RS full and CA10002RS half & 5k.
Don't delay, the first 2,200 runners to register for the full or half marathons will receive a beautiful large insulated tote. The first 500 to register for the full marathon are guaranteed to receive a technical shirt. The first 1,700 to register for the half marathon are guaranteed a technical shirt.
Marathon (26.2 miles): $75; after Feb. 18, 2012, $85. $100 Expo registration No race day registration.
Half Marathon (13.1 miles): $55; after Feb. 18 2012, $65. $75 Expo registration No race day registration.
5K (3.1 miles): $20; after Feb. 18, 2012, $25; Expo registration, $30. Race Day $35 Absolute cut off time for 5k race day registration is 7a.m.

Our official photographers at Captivating Sports Photo's will be taking pictures at the event and will also use a back drop at the finish line. All photo's are free and can be downloaded from their website.
Awards
All Surgical Artistry Modesto Marathon & Half Marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal.
Cash prize will be awarded to the first overall male and female in each race. $500 for the marathon, $250 for the half marathon & $100 for the 5k.
Age division awards for the Marathon & Half Marathon
Finisher medals will be given in 5 year age groups to top 3 male and female participants starting at 19-under, 20-24, 25-29, etc. to 80+

Get your finish medal engraved with your finish time. Engravers will be on site after marathon to engrave your finish medal. $15
Awards will be at main stage. Overall winners will be awarded cash prizes on the stage at times listed below. Age division awards will be given out at a booth next to the main stage after the overall awards are given. Please come to pick up your award.

Modesto Marathon Expo 2012
Saturday, March 17, 2012 11a.m. to 6p.m.
Avoid last-minute congestion by attending the Surgical Artistry Modesto Marathon Expo on Saturday, March 17, 2012, featuring race packet pick-up for the full and half marathons, as well as the 5K.

Late registration for the full and half marathons WILL be accepted at the Expo. However, commemorative insulated totes and technical shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,200 to register in the half and full marathons only. Late registrants ARE NOT guaranteed to receive these goodies! Sign up early to avoid disappointment.
There will be NO race day registration for the full or half marathons. However, runners and walkers may sign up at the expo for the 5K.
Registration for the 5K on race morning will be at the Pikes Building, corner of 11th and M streets, 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. Race day registration will close at 7a.m. SHARP.
Packet pickup only for the full and half marathons on race morning will be at the Pikes Building, 11th and M streets, 6 to 7 a.m.
Expo dinner featuring guest speaker Dick Beardsley
Join us at the Expo dinner 6PM . Dick Beardsley will regal his audiences with tales of his competitive running career, as well as his trials and tribulations through life, including a near-fatal accident, knee replacements and an addiction to prescription pain medication.
