Has the guest speaker for the 2013 pre-race dinner been announced?
This year's guest speaker will be Bart Yasso. You may know of Bart from his role as Chief Running Officer of Runners World magazine. He is also the creator of Yasso 800's, a popular training technique.
When is the Expo dinner?
The Expo dinner will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Modesto Center Plaza, 1150 9th St., Modesto, 6 p.m. Fuzio Universal Bistro will be serving a Chicken & Pasta dinner. Advance ticket purchase is recommended as this may sell out.
What is the Expo and where is it?
The Surgical Artistry Modesto Marathon Expo will be Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Modesto Convention Center/Center Plaza, 1150 9th St., Modesto. It is for runners/walkers to pick up their race materials. It has many booths offering everything from race apparel and shoes, to information about our community and other events.
